How to save Instagram videos & photos to iPhone/PC

Are you looking for a method to save Instagram videos and photos to your iPhone’s Camera Roll? If yes, then you’ve come to the right place 😀

Recently, my friend just asked me if there is a way or trick to do this on his iPhone. I searched a lot and dove into tons of apps on the App Store. But unfortunately, none of them worked as I expected.

Some apps are no longer available to install.

Some apps do allow you to download and save photos but they don’t allow you to save videos. And also, they operate on a coin-based system to let users download content. Users are initially given a few coins. When they’ve used all their coin, they will have to buy coin packs via an in-app purchase. That’s not worth it!

Some other only let you save content within the app. You cannot import saved photos and videos to the Camera Roll. And that doesn’t make sense AT ALL!

How to save videos from Instagram to iPhone/iPad

Updated – January 16, 2017

I just found an app that works very well. It’s free, no download limitation, and you can download any videos, photos you like from Instagram with just one tap. Grab it now – Its name is Quick Reposter!

Once you’ve installed it, you’ll need to launch the app and sign in with your Instagram account. Unlike other apps, the app’s interface is designed so well, making finding photos and video fairly easy.

Quick Reposter looks just like the official Instagram app as it also has the Home tab for latest photos and videos from everyone you’re following on Insta; the Explore tab for searching content; and the Likes tab for reviewing content that you’ve liked.

To download a photo or video, just open it and tap SAVE. For the first time, you’ll be asked to allow the app to access your Camera Roll. Just hit Allow and you’re good to go.

The only drawback of using this app is that it keeps showing lots of Ads. However, this app is free and easy to use. When it comes to saving videos & photos from Instagram, I haven’t used any app that works well like this one. So I think we should support the developer too, no big deal!

The previous method

In case the app I mentioned above is no longer available, you can use this method alternatively. In fact, I had used this method before I found out about Quick Reposter.

Since I wrote about it before in these articles

I won’t talk about it again 🙂 The process is the same and the website I recommend you to use to get the download links is SaveDeo.com.

Jailbreak tweaks

If your iPhone is jailbroken, there are different tweaks you can download from Cydia to let you save pictures and videos from Instagram to your iPhone. InstaBetter, InstaEnhancer, Instagram++, and InstaTools are just a few of the many options available.
