Here’s a detailed tutorial on how to set up Gmail on iPhone via Gmail app:

Step 1: Download the Gmail app from the App Store, then open it.

Step 2: Tap SIGN IN at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Choose Google.

Step 4: Tap Continue to allow the Gmail app to use Google.com for sign in.

Step 5: Enter your Gmail address, then tap Next.

  • If you see your Gmail address on the Accounts list, tap on it.

Step 7: The app will show you services that might you want to sync, including Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes. Normally, the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars are toggled on, so it’s up to you if you want to include Notes. Click Save on the upper-right corner of the screen once done.

Your Gmail address is now in sync with the Mail app. You should be notified via email that you have added your Gmail address to the Mail app.
