Most iOS video editting apps allow you to combine videos into one, but using the right app will save you time and effort.
I’ve been using video editor and movie maker apps for years. Based on my experience, below is my suggestion for those of you who want to merge multiple videos on iPhone.
Combine videos on iPhone using iMovie
iMovie is a free video editor provided by Apple. You can download it for free on the App Store. Putting videos together using this app is as easy as adding them to a project. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: Open iMovie, select the “Project” tab in the middle of the top of the
Step 2: Tap the plus button to add a new project, then select “Movie”.
Step 3: Now select the videos that you wish to merge together. Selecting videos in order will let you export the resulting video quicker but it does not necessarily need to be done as you can adjust everything later. Click “Create Movie” at the bottom of the screen to import selected videos.
Step 4: Once videos are added on the timeline, you can adjust the order by tapping on one video, dragging and dropping onto the right position.
Step 5: Between two videos is an icon that lets you choose the transition. You can choose five transition effects or simply “None”.
Step 6: To add another video, tap on the Plus button and select your videos. To preview your work, simply hit on the Play button. You can also edit your video more by tapping on each portion and selecting editing tools available at the bottom of the screen.
Step 7: When you are satisfied with the video, tap “Done” in the top-left corner of the screen. Tap on the Share button, then select “Save Video” to save it to the Photos app. You can also copy it to clouds or other apps as these options are available here as well.
Step 8: After the video is exported, you can head to the Photos app and check out the new video.
